Especially given the pooling phenomena... and your suggestion of it being to do with how one sees things. Lakes and Pools... Running rivers and muddy banks... I love these images.<br /><br />Personally I love the pooling and flashing effects provided I like the colours at all... and if I don't then I don't like them any better when they are mud!<br /><br />For years the only way I've known how to handle the gorgeous variegated threads was to use then with a black (or other flat colour) in two-colour fair-isle type knitting.
